What the client needed

A rental business is a scheduling and billing problem: which machines are where, until when, at what rate, and who owes what. Spreadsheets stop working once the fleet and the customer list grow.

What we built

An equipment register with specifications and documents; availability and reservation against each unit; quoting and rental contracts by day, week or month with rate cards per equipment class; delivery and return tracking; maintenance holds; invoicing and statements; and utilisation and revenue reporting.

Laravel API, MySQL, and a Next.js front end for office staff.

What it shows

Rental-business logic (availability, rate cards, contracts, utilisation) on the stack we use today.
