Hire Next.js Experts

Hire Expert Next.js Developers

You need pages that Google can read and that load fast, often in front of a backend that already exists. We place a Next.js developer who is used to that arrangement: most of our Next.js work sits on a Laravel API, from local lead-generation sites to a UK telecom billing platform.

What a Next.js developer decides, route by route

Next.js is React plus a long list of decisions about where code runs and how long its result is kept. Those decisions, more than the components, set the speed, the hosting bill and whether search engines see the page.

Draws the line between server and client

A page that marks everything "use client" throws away what the App Router offers. Good work keeps data fetching and secrets on the server and sends only the interactive parts to the browser.

Chooses how each route renders and caches

A service page can be static, a dashboard cannot, and a price list sits between them. Stale data after an edit, or a slow page that should have been cached, usually traces back to this choice.

Connects to the backend you already have

Login through a separate API, cookies across subdomains, typed clients, and revalidating a page when the backend changes. On our cabinet-manufacturer upgrade, a new Next.js front end replaced the old screens over Laravel 13.

How to judge a Next.js developer in one call

  • Ask which parts of a page they would make client components, and why. Defaulting to all of them is the warning sign
  • Ask how they would refresh one product page after an edit in the CMS without rebuilding the site
  • Ask what changes when the app runs on your own server instead of Vercel
  • Ask how they keep a tracking script from hurting Interaction to Next Paint
  • Check they know Pages Router too if your project still uses it. Plenty of experience on CVs is from that era

Choose your developer level

Compare Next.js developer levels, experience, and monthly rates (160 h per month, retainer discount; USD, invoiced in USD, GBP, EUR or INR). Every level is available on hourly, monthly, or dedicated-team engagements; short pieces of work are from $20/h.

Mid-Level Next.js Developer

Mid Level2-4 years~$3,250/month

Delivers whole features against an existing API: authenticated dashboards, Server Actions, metadata and schema, and the Core Web Vitals work on the routes that matter.

Senior Next.js Developer

Expert Level4+ years~$5,400/month

Sets the caching strategy and the server and client boundaries, moves Pages Router code across safely, and plans hosting, on Vercel or not. Start here if the project is new or already slow.

Next.js Full Stack Developer

Owns a small product with no separate backend: Route Handlers, a database, authentication and deployment in one repository. If you already run Laravel, you probably want the mid-level role instead.

How a Next.js engagement runs

Your developer is part of our engineering team in India with 3โ€“5 hours of overlap with the UK and Europe; US calls by appointment.

What to send us

Your backend, your hosting, and the Next.js version if you already have a project. Designs help but are not required. After a call we confirm who is available and when they can start.

Works alongside your backend team

The developer agrees API contracts with whoever runs your backend, and you decide what gets built. If you have no backend team, we can supply Laravel developers on the same terms.

A site or a developer?

If you need a lead-generation website with a known end, a fixed-scope project usually costs less than a monthly developer. We quote that after looking at what you need.

Overlap that suits front-end review

Design feedback is easier live. With 3โ€“5 hours shared with UK and European working days, there is time for that, and anything left is ready for you the next morning. US calls are by appointment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about hiring Next.js developers from itmarkerz.

Do you work with Next.js App Router or Pages Router?
Both. We use App Router for new work, and this website runs on it with Next.js 16. An existing Pages Router project can keep running, and routes can move across one at a time when there is a reason to.
Which Next.js sites and apps have you built?
The Xavis Cleaning and Warlimagu lead-generation sites, MaxQR, Shabash, and the web apps on our garage-booking and rental platforms. Most of them sit in front of a Laravel API.
Does the developer have to deploy on Vercel?
No. Next.js also runs on your own Node.js server or in Docker. Some features need more setup away from Vercel, such as image optimisation and caching across several instances, so we check what you rely on.
Can you integrate Next.js with a headless CMS?
Yes. Shabash takes its content from headless WordPress. For another CMS, we check its API and preview support first, because draft previews are usually what editors miss most.
